Bilder som festet seg - referat fra netter i arkivet er en tekstbasert performance laget til Vårutstillingen 2013. Inne i Fotogalleriets video-rom, omgitt av et absolutt mørke, kunne publikum høre memoriserte beskrivelser av bilder som festet seg på netthinnen etter nattlige gjennomganger av Fotogalleriets arkiv. Performancen varte i åpningens tre timer og i resten av utstillingsperioden ble prosjektet presentert gjennom et opptak fra denne seansen.

Under åpningen ble også prosjektetet belønnet med BKHs Fotokunstpris med følgende begrunnelse: "Vinnems carefully orchestrated room setting allows the absence of light to become a physical photographic experience where time and sound makes the camera excessive. At the same time the work comments on the history of photography and its techniques by playing with entities such as the darkroom, authentic presence and reproduction. The work of Arne Vinnems stands out as an original, site-specific artwork that actively relates to the gallery's recent past."

Images that stuck - notes from nights in the archive is a text based performance created for The Spring Exhibition 2013.
Inside the Photo Gallery's video room, surrounded by an absolute darkness, the audience could hear memorized descriptions of images that stuck to the retina after nightly reviews of the Photo Gallery's archives. The performance lasted for three hours during the opening and was presented as a recording throughout the exhibition period.


The project was also rewarded with the BKH Art Photography Prize, on the following grounds: "Vinnems carefully orchestrated room setting allows the absence of light to become a physical photographic experience where time and sound makes the camera excessive. At the same time the work comments on the history of photography and its techniques by playing with entities such as the darkroom, authentic presence and reproduction. The work of Arne Vinnems stands out as an original, site-specific artwork that actively relates to the gallery's recent past."
